Answering Clinton's Racist Hope

I'm sick of hearing white people say, "I don't have a racist bone in my body! Why are THOSE people so thin-skinned? Why are they always making something out of nothing?"

Those statements have been particularly loud from the Hillary Clinton camp lately. Poor Hillary, accused of being a racist! Imagine! Hillary, who didn't see anything wrong with Geraldine Ferraro's statements until the polls told her that it was politically advantageous not to like them. Hillary, who makes sure her surrogates drop little seeds of doubt about Barack Obama every chance she gets.

Well, now there's the uproar over Reverend Wright. Give me a break. The man is courageous, fairly careful, and certainly speaks for what millions of us believe about the wrong direction this country has taken. Obama was forced to distance himself from his pastor, but in true Obama style, he turned the attack on him into a tremendous opportunity to articulate matters of race in America.

I won't say more now, except to include a link to an important article which I think everyone--Black and white should read:
